Since hearing that Joss Whedon had opted out of the upcoming Wonder Woman movie, I was in despair of seeing any new Whedon-esque content in the near future. Happily, it would appear that I was wrong. Looks like Joss Whedon has a seven episode commitment with Fox for a new series starring Eliza Dushku, titled Dollhouse and premiering in the new year.

Yes, isn’t it wonderful news? I was one who wore a black armband when I heard of Joss’s un-involvement with Wonder Woman. So I’m very happy about this new development.

Here’s hoping the writer’s strike doesn’t derail this good thing.

It was a shame to hear about WW, but it sounds like he made the right decision.

Hmm, hadn’t thought of the writers guild strike though… bugger

Everybody’s in the same boat re: the writer’s strike, especially everybody in TV. I don’t think it will effect Dollhouse except to delay it. My understanding is a large part of the deal hinges on Eliza’s talent deal with FOX. That is, they have to develop something for her. So Dollhouse will still be there.

    Was just me being cynical.
