linux.conf.au on $0 a day

Linux Conf is back in Melbourne.

I live here and I couldn’t even get within sniffing distance of tickets, so if like me you’re hungry to get your nerd on, they are posting video and slide files on the website as the presentations take place. Yum.

On the other hand if you are not a complete nerd, but still think that computers and security are interesting, at least have a listen to the Day 1 keynote address by renowned security technologist and author Bruce Schneier.

The files are available in OGG (video) and SPX(audio) formats. If you don’t know what that means, then you are probably

  1. more socially adept than I am
  2. running a non-linux operating system

In which case you might need something like VLC to handle the playback.

Share and enjoy.
